Alpine, NY based Fenton Motorsports is gearing up for another season of stockcar racing in central and southern New York. Larry Fenton Sr, along with his
two sons Larry Jr and Raymond, make up the core of Fenton Motorsports.
The Fenton family racing program has been a competitive and successful venture for the past eight years in which they have seldom missed a single
race weekend over that period of time. And, for 2013, they are expected to
turn up the wick even further as newer and more advanced performance equipment is being put in place.
Current plans for the upcoming season include regular weekly Friday competition
at Black Rock Speedway in Dundee, with a mixture of Saturday and Sunday appearances at Skyline Raceway, Five Mile Point Speedway, Woodhull Raceway and Thunder Mountain Speedway.
Sponsorship help is currently being sought as expenses for travel,
fuel and general racecar upkeep is monumental to say the least.
Derenzo Fence Company of Elmira, NY
producers of decorative and security type fencing, became primary sponsor
for the Fenton Motorsports beginning with the 2008 campaign. Without the generous financial support
of Mr. Derenzo, the Larry Fenton #55 Monte Carlo would have most certainly missed a number of shows.
